Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays

‘Now, I’ll tell you what, my friend,’ said Scrooge, ‘I am not going to stand this sort of thing any longer. And therefore,’ he continued, leaping from his stool, and giving Bob such a dig in the waistcoat that he staggered back into the Tank again; ‘and therefore I am about to raise your salary!’

What is Christmas?  It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future.  It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace…Happy Holidays!

Pray for Snow

Pray for snowwww

Pray for Snowwwww

In the upcoming weeks I pray for snow so that we can have a beautiful white Christmas. I also pray for snow so that I can go snowboarding at Mt. Creek or other locations that have much better conditions. In Utah, they supplicate the snow saints for a solid 500+ inch year; in New Jersey, I usually watch the rain and pray for enough money to buy a ticket to Utah but I hope this year will be a little different. I won’t hold my breath.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Posted in Uncategorized on November 9, 2010 by bdaza329

So I decided to head to Play n Trade in Wantage last night to stand online with 40 something people in 40 degree weather for Call of Duty: Black Ops, the seventh in the series. I have played each and everyone of them but I started out on the pc using the good ol mouse and keyboard. Mouse and keyboard is considered by many to be the best controller setup for first person shooter games such as Call of Duty and I concur, but do to the ease of gaming with the xbox 360 console, computer gaming has been fading out. The problem, for me at least, is that there is no way real good way of using the keyboard and mouse with the xbox360 just yet and I abhor the xbox 360 controller. I can not aim on anything with that piece of garbage. I truly don’t understand how people do so well with it. After about 10 hours of leveling up, unlocking some weapons/perks, calling in some choppers and just dying entirely to many times because of my lack of aiming skills, I decided that I hate this game. I will be sucked into this game for the next 6 months being killed from every direction, while being frustrated and annoyed because of the little crack shot 12 year olds, to bad it is really no different than the previous installment of the game. The Game is the usual cod but really I am looking forward to playing co op online, co op zombies, and seeing what the single player has to offer as I have heard good things about it. Single player is usually a short, faced paced almost block buster movie type of mode and I plan to play it on the hardest setting, as usual. Well it has been fun Cod Modern Warefare 2 but now it is time to make way for black ops…that is until Cod 8 comes out next year. What a great money making vicious cycle. I love this game:)

Acura RSX Type Modified

Posted in Uncategorized on November 4, 2010 by bdaza329

I have owned 2 rsxs. Both type s models, both black, both tastefully modded… only the new one has everything the old one did plus more. I had an accident with my first one and had to get another black rsx… I wouldn’t have it any other way. The car gone through many aftermarket parts… a lot of them were installed only to be removed because I picked up better aftermarket parts.

At this point I just removed my comptech eaton m62 supercharger and am replacing it with a larger more efficient lysholm 1600ax twinscrew supercharger. The setup has heat dissipation coating on the manifold as well as the custom inlet that was hand fabricated by Tony Palo of T1 Motorsport’s. I am also installing a meth injection setup for cooling as well as higher octane, and swapped out a brand new stage 2 clutch for a brand new stage 4 because I knew that the stage 2 would not hold the power and I did not want to waste it.

Here is the car as of a 2 weeks ago with a bunch of my parts waiting to be reinstalled.

Last week the supercharger was all bolted together with new gaskets, hardware, and fresh oil in the blower. Than it was mocked up to see what kind of clearances we have for the intake and battery. There is definitely not to much room so hopefully I do not have to relocate the battery to the trunk or another location. You can also see a black custom heat exchanger mounted on the front of the car which is part of a water/air aftercooler setup that will provide additional cooling of the air from the supercharger.

I will be heading to my buddies shop this evening so hopefully a large amount of work will be done Friday before all the Halloween activities on Saturday.

Cheers

South Park-It’s a Jersey Thing-It’s called a Snooki!!

Posted in Uncategorized on October 14, 2010 by bdaza329

I praise the Snooki South Park spoof (video below) in which the Jersey Shore star was turned into an animated, out of control, orange beast. I loved the parody especially since she was portrayed with whiskers, Yoda ears, and being blasted for her fame. “It’s called a Snooki. It’s very famous”. “That thing is famous, why?” said the episode.

Snooki told news last night that she has “officially made it” with this spoof.” Other cast members loved the mention last night as well. Which I find ridiculous because I think the show and Snooki is a joke and pathetic that New Jersey is viewed in such a negative light. Can not wait to see where the cast is in 10 years.

During the parody, an alert is set out that “There is trouble.” A reported beast is on the loose. “It tore a hole in my … locker. Smashed the cigarette lighter in half.” But when asked to free herself, the orange creature with strange ears and oversize earrings has nothing to say; she only giggles. “Come out now. Be easy on yourself” prompts the warning. “It’s one of them. That thing is from Jersey too!”

August Burns Red Live CD/DVD

Coming into 2009, the band August Burns Red released their breakout album Constellations and shot the band to the forefront of the metal scene. In 2010, the band is touching back down to earth with the release of Home, ABR’s first live CD and DVD.

The DVD/CD shoot – filmed in, appropriately enough, the band’s Home-town of Manheim, PA and brought out solid sold-out crowd of 1250 people including some who traveled internationally, from as close as Montreal to as far away as Amsterdam.
